Good to hear the bicep came back. I ripped my hammy doing a frame deadlift but theres thankfully no noticeable difference between the two.

Tearing my bicep completely changed my life for a good year and the arm atrophied to a noodle within a month of being in a cast. I'm going to compete at 198 with a projected 620 deadlift, 520 squat, and 365 bench press. Bench is always a tough one because I've always been in the mindset that like you either have to gain weight to increase the bench or live with like 5lb gains on bench every 6 months haha. Bench is weird in comp because the pad plays so much into it. I'll be attempting 405 soon so I'm pumped. I tore it about a year ago. I really just had to take it easy for like 6 months, no surgery thankfully. I just started doing like block pulls and belt squats and didn't have any pain. I've been chasing a 405 bench for like 10 years now. Everytime I hit around 370 I experience some set-back, like injury or a lifestyle change that causes me to lose weight. Hope you get it. Do you compete btw?

Thanks, 405 is like a huge mental block it's weird. Like I've done 380 for multiple sets and reps but just can't squeak out 405 yet. I have competed, but the hamstring thing derailed me a bit so I want to get up to my standards before going again.

I get hit on here and there but probably not as much as you might think.
