There's exceptions but in the vast majority of cases guys are expected to put in the work trying to hook up with a girl whether it be for casual sex or a relationship. And that effort doesn't mean you will get results.

Even when I was in my late teens/early and I was super cut I would always get turned down. Now I'm 30, not in as good shape as I use to be, and women aren't remotely interested in talking to me.

I'd probably classify that as a statistical anomaly. I dunno, I was speaking from experience but it's probably a US thing. It also depends what you're looking for I guess. In my country there are a lot of single well educated women and they usually want well educated men. And because those groups are concentrated in different parts of the country, tinder was the go to app to find dates.

Tinder might be hard for the guys that only got laid because the chick in question was drunk as hell.

Yeah maybe different results because our countries are different.

Not only did we get pretty girls at bars who were drinking. Some of us are are in relationships with pretty girls we met at work or even in public places such as Starbucks or a bowling ally.

Can't get anything on Tinder however. Perhaps there's a better app out there.

1. Dating Sites. Women realized they hold all the cards and have no reason to settle for anything less than the "top 1%". Why go fast food when you have access to fine dining.
2. Stigmatization of men. Thanks to social media, all men are labeled as pedophile rapists unless they prove their innocence. This is a huge morale destroyer and discourages any timid guy from making a move.

What I like about this video is how badly it demoralized the girl to have the experience of being a guy. I don't hear much about how dating sites kill the self-esteem and confidence of males while you always hear about women on Tinder for confidence boosts. Though I suppose being a female could be a factor in wanting to be accepted so she'd be more vulnerable to this sort of thing.

Most accurate reason in the thread so far. This has made my fellow man, who was already afflicted by a great thirst, an absolutely parched soul in the desert. A vicious cycle that validates D and C rank women.

The second place to lay the finger on is the economy. Sex was difficult to come by when I had to live with my parents. No girl wants to fuck when your folks are around (and quite frankly, I wasn't comfortable screwing in my parents apartment anyhow), and eventually they get tired of hotel/motel stays (not to mention the expense). A huge percentage of unmarried men under 30 are living with their parents.

Porn has been around and easily accessible since before the internet was easily accessible. It is absolutely not the main reason.
