29 y/o Breanna Lockwood from Chicago, Illinois who is an influencer online revealed that she is INFERTILE and cannot give birth..so her 51 y/o MOTHER will be carrying her baby!!

She and her husband of 4 years, 28 y/o Aaron have been trying to get pregnant since marriage but after 7 surgical procedures, three rounds of harvesting eggs and 4 failed embryo transfers and a single and twin miscarriage, they still couldn't have kids...

But last month a miracle happened when her mother, Julie stepped in and said she will give birth to their baby as Breanna posted a pic of them together and her mom now pregnant.

She said "They say it takes a village to raise a child for some it can take a village to HAVE a child. We are happy to announcefinally, BABY LOCKWOOD IS ON THE WAY!!"

She said the baby was made with "lots of love" and her mom will be carrying and delivering their baby and said her mom is the biggest supporter of their lives

Breanna wrote "My beautiful mama is carrying her first grandchild. Aaron and my biological child, as a gestational carrier!".

A gestational carrier is a woman who carries someone elses' biological child without donating any of her own eggs orDNA

Her mother was turned down by multiple reproductive donors because she was too old to carry a child despite being in "tip top shape" until one doctor was convinced that her mother could do it as they describedthe mother as someone who looks as good as someone in their 20s

The embryo transfer happened in February and will give birth in November

Breanna said this will be an adventure with her mother and her being surrogate will be the greatest gift ever

The response has been overwhelmingly positive as they congratulated her as many said "Don't be ashamed of your story, it will inspire others"

i'm generally against IVF across the board since there are a ton of kids that should be adopted before you start shelling out 100k to make one in a test tube. but beyond that, this would only be weird if the husband impregnated her mother the natural way...
