I mean, think about it. Trump used to be a registered Democrat. His joining the Republicans and getting their nomination was a scheme to practically guarantee the Democratic candidate an easy victory. Where it went wrong is they didn't realize how many people hated Hillary and/or what she represented, they were too focused on having the first female President. But, it doesn't matter: After all the horrible decisions and things he's done the past few weeks, the Dems are pretty much guaranteed this election. Trump is doing the exact things that are most likely to prevent himself from being re-elected. He is doing the most damage to the image of Republicans that he could possibly do...almost like it's being done on PURPOSE.

If Trump serves as the ultimate example for Americans to knock off that stupid middle schooler "I'd vote for him!" mentality they get every time someone says something stupid like "What if Carrot Top ran for President?" then the last 4 years were worth it, but it is not gonna work that way. We are going to get more controversial millionaires and celebrities and reality TV show hosts running for office in the future and Americans will be duped again because the career politicians running against them are too incompetent to offer reasonable competition.

I really think that he has done a bunch of damage to the integrity and structure of the republican party and I think some of that damage just hasn't been realized yet. but will become apparent after Trump is gone. I do seriously wonder if Donald Trump is the final Republican president that will ever exist. I could see the GOP unraveling after he leaves. maybe get replaced by Libertarians who rush in to fill the hole left.

So yeah he never really wanted to win from the beginning, but of course we have too many idiots in the states that think Trump would've been a good president lol.
