I mean 80s critic and 7.2 user Id say is pretty solid no? Review scores for gaming has always been judged in a weird manner

Its a meme at this point. People love to be part of a circle jerk.

Im just surprised another game hasnt come along to take its place. But Id hazard to guess that most of the people still riding it would wait to see what everyone else starts dunking on before they do anything original.

It's how people treat RLM with films. People just learn what their opinion on a movie should be from them then circlejerk it

I unironically do want to go through Death Stranding again as a new experience. It was...something else. Atmospheric. Lonely but soothing. Managing balance and the terrain was oddly satisfying. Combat felt like an afterthought to me. I didn't really need it in order to enjoy myself.

I liked it for the same reason I grew up playing Harvest Moon. It feels...productive, I guess. To enjoy a world and quietly help it.

Death Stranding was the best game of last year, and one of my favorites of the generation.

But it's long as hell and I don't want to replay it (may go for platinum though). I want a sequel instead.

Check out Snowrunner. I think you'll dig it. I've never played DS but a lot of people say Snowrunner is like DS with trucks.

Seems a little difficult at first glance. "Extreme" isn't necessarily what I'm looking for.
