• Samurai Champloo
• Yu Yu Hakusho

It's alright. I wouldn't watch it again. And people claiming it to be the best anime ever, I am a bit miffed at them as I came in with high expectations and was left with what is just a graceful generic shonen.

Death Note (at least the 1st half) is definitely stronger.

My Hero Academia is also a strong contender.

But that's just shounen. Non punchy anime that are also good are The Devil is a Part Timer and Tora

I think that the '03 series is better until the last 9 or 10 episodes, where it gets really bad, IMO, for the most part (but it did have its moments).

Brotherhood is mostly consistent in quality throughout.

To me Brotherhood took everything that made FMA interesting and made it more of a generic anime.

High quality generic anime, but still generic nonetheless.

It's a great anime, but people will change their minds over time. When it came out it was amazing, but it has been 10 years since its release, I'm sure there have been some anime that are just better. But if you're caught up with all the latest stuff and are digging around for stuff to watch (like I currently am now), it is definitely not something you will regret watching.

It doesnt really pick up until halfway but its great once it gets rolling. I think its objectively better than Brotherhood by a fair margin.
