RadiantAdolin 06/04/20 6:16:46 PM #1:	Qualified Immunity doesn't protect bad cops, it protects good cops. Qualified Immunity means a cop, acting properly and in good faith, cannot be held accountable if they make a mistake so long as the mistake isn't negligent. It doesn't protect cops who use excessive force or are otherwise corrupt or abusive, their protection is coming from the departments.
