I watched it once from work, so I didn't get all the details due to it being loud there. I don't really want to watch a guy beg for his life again.

Yeah, it made me angry. When he was calling out to his mom it was sad, fuck that skinny armed piece of shit cop and the other goonies standing around like it was okay.

I haven't; watching Arbery's murder fucked me up hard as it is, and just reading descriptions of this one, along with a few screencaps, is enough to leave me enraged and disgusted.

I've also seen more violent murders than this.

But this one is INFURIATING

-A man in a position of power
-Who is supposed to uphold order and people's rights
-Holding weapons and backed by other officers
-Abusing the power dynamics of racism
-Attacking a man who wasn't fighting back
-Going far beyond reasonable restraint
-Ignoring the man's begging for air and even for his mother
-Seeming to enjoy it
-Ignoring the onlookers desperately urging him to let him breathe
-Other cops defend him and attack the onlookers when they push Chauvin to stop
-Hearing the man's begging for life draining away slowly until he's sputtering and then dead
-Killing him SLOWLY for 10+ minutes. He had so much time to consider what he was doing and to let him breathe. It wasn't a split-second gunshot. This is what gets me the most. Watching the video I kept wanting somebody to run over and KICK him off of floyd. He had time to reflect on what he was doing. He chose to keep pushing his knee.
-The damn insouciant way he walked away from it. No apparent remorse. I felt worse about killing a cockroach today than he did about killing Floyd
-Knowing that it happened following a string of similar incidents and the police just don't give a damn
-Knowing that police around the world have been attacking and even killing people peacefully protesting.
-Knowing the circumstances that have led to this, and the hurtful things people around the world (and people IN POWER) have said
-Coming fresh off of not just the other cop killings of black people but also Amy Cooper weaponizing racism against an innocent black person
-The idea that if it hadn't been filmed, he would have gotten away with it!!!
-Knowing that it took THIS big of an outcry for him and the others to be taken into custody and charged.

That's why this video gets me angrier than a video of a drug cartel brutalizing somebody.

I watched the whole thing.

Props to the people verbally accosting the officer. I mean, they obviously would be dead if any of them rushed the scene, so its all they could do.

I noticed some odd things, like the one officer(I want to say the asian one) says "We tried [to put him in the car] for ten minutes!" when asked a question, and it also appears once the ambulance arrives the EMTs aren't doing much. It seems as if only police officers are hoisting him onto the gurney, which I don't know if thats proper procedure or not. I don't even know if any EMT even touched floyd at all, though the video I saw wasn't steadily recording the scene of the ambulance when it arrived.

This is the biggest thing to me.

The fact that he continued on know full well that he was being recorded with multiple witnesses.
That, in and of itself self speaks volumes. We all know that black people, and others are subjected to be treated like shit from certain cops. But the comfort leave this 'officer' projects tells a lot about the systemic corruption within the system.

Im pretty sure the EMT report said he was dead before they even got there, so they probably knew there was nothing they could do
