Thats most likely it. Theres a real fear that the looting, violence, and vandalism these pathetic rioters are causing will spread outside the cities soon enough.

These were peaceful lawful protesters in the video of course, but though there is nothing wrong with letting it be known you will defend your family and home if rioters decide to destroy it.

I didn't assume their intentions, you did, and you are actually ignorant to the reasons they're standing there. You say they're there to cause a scene, but if that's the case they're the worst scene causers ever. I've seen numerous videos of highly armed black people standing in front of their businesses to protect them.

While there is an extremely likely that these people are racists who are there just to piss off protestors but they could also be protecting their neighbourhood.
