Yet to become a cop, it takes a high school degree and police academy (usually 3-8 months). Oh, and most police departments pay you while youre in the Academy. Yet police are in control of ALL the other professions in the country. If the law is broken in any profession, ultimately its the police who have to arrest those who break laws. Hmm. Interesting. Bad cops arent trained to be bad cops, those ones are bad people abusing power. That being said, less than 40 percent of the military has actually been deployed. Less than 1 in 10 have seen combat. Im pretty sure I have been shot at more times in 4 years than the average military member. Not sure how many active shooters has he been in, hes always been a sad poster though.
