When was the last time multiple states had riots and what caused it?

well 1992 los angeles riots were the last time the insurrection act was invoked. Don't know if it will be again now by trump. Kinda ridiculous really if a states police force plus national guard cannot handle riots and protests, and you are so scared that you need to call for military back up

Probably the 1960s. There's been riots and protests every year, but not on a national level of this size in my lifetime.

Things got pretty heated in the summer of 2014 following Michael Brown's death, but I don't remember if protests outside of Ferguson resulted in as much conflict.

gotta vote for this. the last few times they had a riot was confined within a few city's or it was peaceful protests that didn't get out of hand.

really miss those sport riots wasn't as destructive as these.
