It's basically Pontypool but a little bit more open. I don't think the dialog stops for more than 5 seconds in the entire movie. It's 1.5 hours long but if I had to guess it has 50-80 pages of nonstop exposition. The movie doesn't show you anything, just tells, and I like slow burn horror but I wouldn't even call it horror. (It's as much "horror" as say, It Comes At Night, which is not at all.

I liked some elements, and a few scenes were tense, but overall it felt very dry and mundane to me. I've spoiled a roughshod summary that sets up the premise of the movie, but doesn't give away any character or ending details. Just the gist.

Two radio operators in a small town with switchboards and all need to work semi-long distance in figuring out why an alien invasion might be happening in their small town. The entire thing is an homage to twilight zone / area 51.
