Board 8 > Is there anyone who can give me advice with a problem I'm having with Discord?

For some reason I am completely unable to hear two specific friends of mine in a voice channel on a Discord server. They can talk to each other, and they can hear me, but I can't hear them at all. They're not muted or blocked, and their volume level is normal. My sound works fine otherwise, and I don't have this problem with anyone else or anywhere else. I was able to do a person-to-person Discord call with one of them just fine, and I have no problems with people in voice channels on other servers. My audio equipment and settings are fine. I don't have audio problems anywhere else, even on Discord, just in this specific situation. I've tried making a brand new server to see if it would fix the issue, but no dice.

Googling this problem doesn't help at all, since no matter what I enter every result is just some variation of "how to fix not being to hear anybody on Discord" and bringing up standard mic issues. I can't find anything about this specific problem, and it's just so baffling to me that it only seems to affect these specific people in this one way. Has this happened to anyone else before? Any advice?

Have you tried using discord on your phone or a different computer to see if the issue still exists?

So I tried it on my phone yesterday and it worked there, but that's not a great solution in the end since I wanted to use it while playing a PC game with heaphones.

I wasn't saying its a solution, but it at least narrows it down to a problem with your pc. Try a reinstall since if settings for all accounts carried over for all parties its something specific to your pc
