putting them at the mercy of other predators , people, Xev Bellringer, and parasites. letting them kill a bunch of wildlife or get in fights with other cats. Not knowing what other people are feeding them. Not knowing how rough kids are play with them. Risking them getting hit by a car. You don't know what kind of water your cat is drinking when they are thirsty.

that too.. Your neighbors aren't going to appreciate your cats defecating/urinating on their yard. Some neighbors might be angry enough to try to hurt them.

I hate cats. They come in your garden and eat all your crops then they poop on your patio
the only way i got my neighborhood cats to stop pooping in my garden is to put up netting around everything.

My cats are outdoor cats because they were strays that happen to have a mother that came, had kittens and they died at my house. Like I could have been mean and just threw em out, but I took care of em. I tried calling my local animal shelter but they aren't into taking every stray at the nearest branch.

Xev Bellringer huh

Anyway whether the topic is sarcastic or not, I live in a place where people just drop animals off and I feed them but they have to stay outside

What if you are feeding a stray, and it becomes friendly enough that you let it come inside once and a while. Should you just trap it in your house instead? Honest question, I have a barn cat that's like 95% outdoor but when it's below freezing I let him sleep inside.

Nah just do like you've been doing. If you wanna let it in more, do so. Just give it a flea and tick pill and make sure it's ok
