It takes roughly 4-6 seconds for someone to pass out, and 20-40 to become brain dead. He was held there for an additional 3 minutes after losing consciousness. And as someone who has seen first hand what it's like to watch someone be choked too long in training and has lost consciousness myself from bilateral compression, I'm fucking livid.
