There will always be some people you just don't naturally click with, but people talking in the break room or whatever can be easy to jump into. Also depends if you just want work friends (people that you talk to/have fun with at work but not outside of work) or if you want to hang out with them outside of work. It would be pretty hard to make new IRL friends now for me personally, not sure if I could do it. Coworkers could work but it depends on who you work with. Most of mine are 10+ years older than me and even though we can get friendly at work and chat a bit, can't really see myself hanging with them outside of work. There are some closer to my age but they don't seem into the same things/activities as me (partially my fault for having some niche interests and not really broadening my horizons much).
