Depends on the population too. My ex was Latina and she said boob jobs were a part of her culture. She got one shortly after we started dating too.

Boob jobs are weird.
So for one group, they get them to feel better about themself because society doesn't see them as attractive as they would if they had bigger boobies, or because they would feel more empowered? But then they're bucking to the demands of society, which would actually make them weak. Then for the other, they just get boob jobs because they want bigger boobs.
