the worst part is we are co-workers..this is such a shitty thing to wake up too on saturday morning..this was so out of left field im sitting here kinda stuck with a well wtf do i do now....gonna be awkward at work on monday

For over 8 years I was alone. So when somebody finally liked me for once, i just jumped in head first without thinking of all the commitment, responsibility, and time a serious relationship takes....so once I jumped in the deep end I sank because I forgot how to swim..I couldn't give her the attention she needed and now im paying for it.

I've always fancied myself a introvert and perhaps this is a blessing in disguise that I can be alone again without having to do the annoying goodnight video calls and pointless chitchat-texting.......but im not gonna lie im feeling pretty hurt.....that was the first person that wanted to be with me for a long-long time and I blew it...fuck myself

well we got out of work at 5pm yesterday and she was like "i'll message you later" so I took a nap after work expecting a text or something.....never got it so nothing woke me up from my nap..woke up at 2 in the morning, messaged her "hey just woke up never heard from you" and went back to bed..checked again at 7:30 am and i was blocked....double checked on a alt profile

Well we actually did break up 2 weeks ago but then got back together and it kinda wasnt the same since..the vibe felt different..I could sort of feel like the shoe was gonna drop but not like this....i thought maybe things were going to warm back up again to where they were but with the whole COVID situation and lack of things to do/places to go out a good weekend or two spent together weren't going to make a difference

I let the cat out of the bag I guess by letting my guard down and exposing the real me..I spent too much time trying to get rested up for my day job and working on my side projects that when we were actually together I was coming off as a grumpy bastard because I'm not the type to sit around and watch netflix together because thats all there is to do right now during the pandemic

by blocking me from FB i totally see that as a goodbye without saying goodbye...maybe she thought I would have blown up on her or something..i guess shes just doing it to protect herself and thats fine but dang thats a shitty saturday morning.....just been cleaning the house listening to a nice 5 hour jim cornette podcast trying to put it out of my head..tommorow i guess I start from scratch

It's simpler because that would be (most) people's first thought. When you start thinking about other possibilities, that's when it complicates things.

Though yeah, I don't blame her. In her eyes he'd seem disinterested and not want to spend time with her. Maybe he's not entirely ready for a relationship. I certainly don't think I am.
