Because some of the ones listed have a Democrat Governor and some Republican, some in the South, but most actually in Central America. So it doesn't seem this is necessarily exclusive to one party.

Of the list mentioned, Illinois (which is the worst per capita of these), Colorado and Minnesota did not vote for Trump. Again, Im going off the list referenced, because up to this point I have not seen a list of all 24 States.

Again, I'm not trying to be cute, and I'm not a Trump supporter.

9 of those States didn't vote for Trump, which is about 38%. Other's listed that did vote Trump also have Democrat Governors. That's not that big of a discrepancy to me. If 20 of those States were Trump States, then maybe.

Thanks for posting the full list. It's a pretty diverse list, I don't think it's as cut and dry as repulicans or the south are stupid, it's just a shitty virus that spreads too quickly. I do think this shows that while a nationwide shut down may not be entirely possible, shut downs of hot spots to try and contain it makes some sense. Not even entire states, but like what New York did with New Rochelle.

I like what New York has done as a whole. Slow at first with some bad decisions sprinkled in, but it's done a good job containing it. Now we have tests and tons of tracers across the entire state, we're now moving into South Korea territory which is probably the best and most effective way to combat this.

As an ohioan I'm pissed with how much we've jumped the gun reopening things.

The second stuff started opening back up, fucking everybody rushed out just to flex. Restaurants, bars, stores, lines out the door. yeah, these places are TRYING to enforce social distancing still, but any body who has ever worked with the public will tell you the average customer doesnt give a fuck. About anything.

We're gonna be shut down again in a month mark my words. It's almost like the whole reason the lockdown was needed in the first place was because the average Joe schmoe couldn't keep it in their fucking pants when just asked nicely to social distance
