Saw this coming from a mile away. They're a "private" company that more or less has a monopoly on information and actively coordinates with governments to regulate the internet. Not to mention, their more than questionable invasion of privacy that they've been popped for multiple times. But whatever your views on that issue, it was merely used an example to illustrate that leftists are the censorship champions. I dont see trumpers coming out in droves begging for the silencing of democrat media on various platforms

No, Google doesnt. Bing, yahoo, Wikipedia, etc. but keep crying over censorship, but wouldnt you agree that conservative sites do the exact same things, censor liberal views?

To comply with government censorship laws. Context is key. Also, again, freedom of speech doesnt apply to private companies. If you dont like it, go create your own company or website, then you can dictate what views are allowed. Just remember, though, restricting anyones views just because they dont match yours, makes you a hypocrite for whining about others restricting conservative views.

Lol are you really trying to compare infowars or even fox news to tech giants that function as public spaces? Apples and oranges. You're being willfully disingenuous. Fox news has nowhere near the power to control public discourse as Google does. Fox news has no power like facebook or google over the internet and information in general. It's sheer ignorance to suggest that we should let these ccompanies do as they please without surveillance of their activities (they're surveilling us after all). There's a reason zuck had to go in front of Congress. You won't see tucker Carlson having to do that because the scope of fox news power compared to fb or google is laughably incomparable.

Also, fox news doesn't actually engage in censorship as such. Tech giants have banned even the mere mention of certain people and events. That is unless maybe you're speaking unfavorably of said people.

One can counter that with "grow up." Behave like a stereotypical child hurling insults and harassing people; get moderated like one. It has nothing to do with getting thicker skin, and everything to do with the ones hurling insults and in general acting like terrible people getting judged based on who they are presenting themselves to be.

Exactly. They claim freedom of speech!
Freedom of speech doesnt mean freedom from consequences of what you say.
Freedom of speech also means people dont have to respect your views. Respect is a two way street, and if you want to act childish and throw insults and not respect the other persons views, and then demand they grow a thicker skin, expect to be treat as a child and have your views not be respected back.
