I must have fucked it up over the years somehow. It now auto corrects actual words into nonexistent words. It'll turn "the" into "thes" and "a" into "s" and so many more.

If it's an android, just go to Settings >> Language and Input >> Keyboard and then there should be a reset to default settings option for whichever one you want.

if that doesnt work then you have to manually delete the english keyboard and then add it back. thats what i had to do

I'll go to spell a word, maybe mess the spelling a bit and it'll keep a spelling with a letter or two swapped around and obviously wrong
