That formula just fucking works, man.

Plus the acting and writing is good enough, and thats actually a compliment.

SVU is great because not it opened the door for cases beyond murder that would still be a big deal if they happened (sex trafficking, etc.) But yeah as it went it got too far into the characters personal lives, where to me the major appeal of these shows is that most of the time its just people doing their fucking jobs really well. --- ...
