I've been protective of my personal number during WFH. It does make contact a bit of a process but end of the day it's like, I had this number forever, for personal use. You want me to be more accessible as an employee, you provide me with a damn work phone.

Nornally i would have a ticket open with microsoft or cisco or something and i always feel so guilty because its me who submitted the ticket and then made myself uncontactable unless its via email or me initiating the call
But if i just answer random calls on my mobile 9/10 times it will be some moron who tried to plug their usb headset into their ethernet port and is wondering why their webex isnt working and its urgent because they have a meeting starting in 10 seconds

If I don't know the number, I don't answer.
And even if I do know the number unless you're capable of firing me, are one of the blonde teachers or the PA to the CEO, good fucking luck getting answered.

If its a third party im waiting on a call from they will usually leave a voicemail or send me an email saying they missed me. It sucks cause too many people have my number who arent supposed to call me and i never know if its a real call or some boomer whos password is about to expire and wants their hand held to reset it
