Yeah, I lost interest in most games that set up the main story and then place 5-10 hours of bullshit in-between the stuff that matters.
There's exceptions, like Witcher 3. Where they actually put effort in the side stories --- Name checks out "Stupidity is a spectrum, and we're all on it" - OfDustandBone ... Copied to Clipboard!

I remember liking the first game though it was tedious at times.
The second game, I tried to play, but it felt like a giant clusterfuck so I stopped. --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 30 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ... Copied to Clipboard!

I liked the first two Golden Sun games, but this part is true.
The first one was fairly short so it didn't feel as noticable. The second one was much longer and the map was basically "everywhere you didn't go in the first game". Golden Sun is light years better than it's previous game. It's called Beyond the Beyond. If you thought GS was tedious then don't even think of trying BtB.

The sheer amount of dialogue in that game is so ugh. That god you can skip right past them with emulators
