 Whatever your top kink is, it's now mainstream. It's socially acceptable to talk about (as much so as a straight guy expressing his desire to have "two women at one time") and it becomes referenced in general media as often as "normal" kinks like extramarital affairs. If it's something that can be featured in film and TV shows, it's shown. Wouldn't that ruin a bunch of fetishes? Some people like having kinks that are taboo and looked down upon by society. Others just have an itch which needs to be scratched. The folks in the latter category may have an itch that isn't socially acceptable to scratch. Sometimes, the taboo is part of the appeal.
