Its such a good fucking trailer and sets the tone for what should not only be the greatest Metal Gear game (even over MGS2) but really the greatest game ever made. Going from legendary hero Naked Snake to him finally embracing the Big Boss persona and watching his fall from grace into what we see in Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. Watching Liquid Snake and how he grew up with his "dad", Ocelot and Kaz (leading to him killing Kaz in MGS1), fucking PSYCHO MANTIS, etc.

This is the greatest video game trailer of all time. I thought we were getting the absolute climax of the Metal Gear series after 30 years of build-up, instead we got absolute asscrap.

It was almost like completely different people took the skins and characters of an abandoned game and made some open world game around it. None of the dramatic movie scenes or foreshadowing of Kaz going crazy, Big Boss having to make a bunch of compromises were followed through on.
Kojima also was so done with the project he purposely got himself fired. --- Spider-Man 3 was a good movie. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Fantastic game. If it had a MGS2 story it would have been the perfect game though. I'm sure we'll see Kojima release an all timer sometime soon.

am i missing something? the trailers are way too long, the music's not great, and it's just a bunch of random cutscenes from the game edited together haphazardly?
