Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle, an independent Baptist church led by Pastor Justin Gazaway in Ringgold, Georgia, restarted in-person services on April 26. Church representative Joan Lewis told The Christian Post on Monday, however, that they decided to suspend in-person worship services for the foreseeable future on May 11 after learning several families had contracted the virus.

If only someone had warned them against this.

This is a microcosm of the country. We need to re-shut down, this time at a federal level that is enforced.

Ill never understand the belief that you have to go to a physical church to revere God. Is it because you have to be seen going to church?

Or are some churches afraid about what will happen without the collection bin?

Is it he same guy who I saw a clip of where he was summoning God's powers or some such to will the Corona virus away through the TV? Because if it is, well... I just want to say that guy has really creepy eyes, like that of a villain from a gothic horror flick.

Funny how Japan has "Voluntary LockDowns" and over 95% of the people in "Locked Down" areas willingly stay quarantined.

Didn't need the government to use any "Force" or "Legal" backings to get people to "Shelter in Place".

Unless you're 45 or older or have underlying conditions, you probably don't need to be so scared of it. It's not a fun thing to go through, but the odds of survival are still in your favor.

Even if you survive it, the fact that you can pass it on to someone who IS more at risk even while you aren't showing symptoms is reason enough to do your best to avoid it entirely. We're now getting reports of kids dying from conditions linked to COVID-19, so I don't think we can be confident that only older people are at risk.

I'm not willing to put my mom, my aunts, uncles, older relatives, older co-workers, older friends, etc. at risk just because I'm 34 and not specifically in a high risk category.
