You can apparently "fake it" by turning on HDR mode in windows 10 and then running the game in borderless windowed mode. It's not true HDR but the upscale apparently at least helps.

Interesting.

I don't understand why they'd leave it out, though. The PC was the primary platform and easily has the most options for graphics settings.

Probably less people asking for it. I would imagine there are more console gamers with HDR TVs than there are PC gamers with HDR monitors right now.

The number of people with proper 10-bit HDR panels are relatively low.

Heck, there are still plenty of people who only have 6-bit panels, much less 8-bit panels.

I use my LG C9 OLED HDTV.

It's even GSYNC compatible.

The C9 is HDR10+
It's also one of the only TVs on the market with HDMI 2.1, so it supports 4k 120fps

For older games that have a lot of overhead with my Razer Blade (2080 Max-Q), I sometimes hook it up to my TV to play instead.

Basically everything is above 60fps at 1440p, and most games can get at or near 60fps at 4k.

How do you tell apart your Razer Blade from your Wife's Razer Blade?

Mine's the 240 Hz model. It was actually cheaper thanks to being on clearance.

Is there a sticker that denotes that difference?

If you both have closed lids side by side, is there a way to tell the difference?
