Seen plenty at college playing while waiting outside class, in the cafeteria, etc.
One or two (non-college) people playing on the bus ride home (Hawaii traffic means about an hour and a half commute)

I can't imagine playing the Switch in public because it's so bulky and doesn't have something like the screen closing of the 3DS to protect the screen so you basically have to have a big as butts carrying case with you when using it.

Yea, jokes aside that's been my experience too. Its just not practical to have on the go, save for like a road trip where i'm not the one driving...which doesn't happen often. I mostly play it at home and while i'm here i might as well play it on this 50 inch TV, not on the small screen in handheld mode. But I guess the functionality being there is cool. I'm not complaining about it. I just don't see myself playing it on the TV, then standing up, undocking it and walking outside with it.

I remember being judgmental about stuff like this when I was 16. That was 9 years ago. If y'all are in your mid 20s and up and still actually care about people playing video games in public... yikes bro

Adults generally aren't concerned about any of that stuff. They've got too much on their own plate to be concerned about that. Shit, college students don't even give a fuck. I see people on the bus talking with female friends while playing their Switch in broad daylight, (and no, they're not nerdy girls wearing glasses and anime t-shirts). Once you reach a certain age you care way less about what other people do to occupy their own time, and if you're one of the few people that still do, that's strictly a you problem.
