Listened to strictly male vocals in high school a lot. Then started getting into female vocals, which was a change of pace. Both are fine.

I voted male on the basis of the bands I listen to (and metal in general) being dominated by primarily male vocalists. I do not really go out of my way to specifically look for bands that have a female lead vocalist in them. I'm pretty sure I listen to more male artists than female artists but I don't have a strong preference.

It depends on the type of music to be honest. Not to mention how good a singer that person is and the actual song. I mean there is a guy on YouTube who has done metal versions of Adele songs which just sound amazing. Of course I like the originals to, but its also Adele, so its easy to fuck up if you aren't a top tier singer.
Currently my two favorite bands are ironically an all male band and then an all female band. --- Now Playing: "The Hunt for the Two Missing Nintendo 64 Games" An expansion came out, but I'm still a third of the way through! ... Copied to Clipboard!
