Its a book that has been translated many many times, chopped & changed because whichever King didnt like this wording or phrase. The current bible is probably like 5% accurate to the original source material.

The current bible is probably like 5% accurate to the original source material.if i'm not mistaken, the jewish publication society's 1985 translation of the tanakh/ot bypassed the context of christian translation traditions entirely and was derived directly from analysis of the original (or at least oldest available) scriptures similar with david bentley hart's translation of the new testament --- ...
