Battle of Gods and Broly were really enjoyable, and while I thought Resurrection F was poor I don't hate it. The series has ups and downs, and is overall pretty mediocre but I still had fun with parts of it. I liked some new characters like Hit, Toppo, and Whis while the dumb comedy stuff did well. Sure the padding in the beginning with the movies was pointless and a bit annoying, but when they got to the ToP, it was DBZ quality levels, and with DBZ being my favorite anime, that's a compliment. The sequel trilogy on the other hand was kinda the opposite. Started off good (I though Force Awakens was good) but it kept going downhill. It was never outright bad like the prequels, but just dissapointing and many missed opportunities.
