The sailing gets insanely old and repetitive IMO.

Oot has better temple play - Wind Waker has better over world play. I will give overall edge to Oot but only because it might be my favorite game ever made.
Also, Wind Waker HD on the Wii U is a fantastic looking game on a modern tv. --- Fervent appearing ... Copied to Clipboard!

OOT was amazing for its day. I really love the overall gameplay of WW. The sailing does get to be a bit old though.

Picture Hyrule Field in OoT. Then stretch it so it's like 5 times bigger but don't add any interesting content to it. Now fill it with water and replace Epona with a boat. Also, Jabu Jabu level just gives you the Sapphire for free, and erase some dungeons after you get MS. There you have Wind Waker.
