Do you have a problem with tv series being rebooted with female leads?

The CW is going girl power again this year after it picked up Republic of Sarah and Kung Fu reboot with a female lead along with Superman & Lois and Walker Texas Ranger Reboot...

The 4 new series will go along with the 12 previously announced shows that were renewed as the fate of current shows Katy Keene and Roswell are still not known and could decide on whether the 100 Prequel or Green Arrow and the Canaries will go to series or is passed.

Green Arrow and the Canaries had a backdoor pilot aired on the final season of Arrow that was to star Katherine McNamara, Katie Cassidy and Julia Harkavy. The 100 final season will begin airing later this month.

The network also passed on Maverick and once again, The Lost Boys after the network tried to keep the show on the loop but did not like what they saw after a retool and passed on the movie reimaging.

Although both Kung Fu and Republic of Sarah did not finish their pilots entirely as Kung Fu was filming in Vancouver and Sarah in Montreal, the bosses liked what they read from the script and gave a series order to both. This will be the network's first all asian cast starring Olivia Liang who plays a chinese-amerian who drops out of college to go on a life changing journey to an isolated monastery in China and returns home to find it overrun with crime and corruption.

The series is a reboot of the Kung Fu Series starring the late David Carradine
