What an extremely disappointing end to a contest.
Imagine hosting a contest for 3 months then pulling this stunt.

A sudden inexplicit rule change in the middle of a round for no reason, whatsoever.

It'd be like ending a SuperBowl at Half Time.
Imagine calling it off because the Falcons were beating the Patriots 21-0 at Half Time.
Apparently comebacks and miracles never happen.

If this was the User of the Year contest, which, this contest was based upon, and the host suddenly pulled this stunt!! It would raise hell!

It not being UotY is exactly why it wasn't a bad idea. People were more chill about it

It's a tedious thing to run and the core, established voterbase was not going to change - people were fairly relaxed about it and weren't too interested in rallying. Golden Parcel was proof of that. The top 3 were getting further and further away and I don't blame Zazi for having that thought at all given the length of the contest.

Yes, because you don't actually know that even if it looked over. Might have been some supporters of ALBW or SMG2 waiting to make a push. It didn't happen in Golden Parcel no, but those weren't the games losing in Golden Parcel. It sounded like people would be cool with all five days if rallies were likely, but they felt too sure they would not happen.

Also, it seemed pretty clear that a solid part of the regular voters did not realize it happened as several people claimed that and votes kept coming in, not looking like only joke votes. Perhaps that could have been solved partially by posting it here too, but even then.

Zazi only made exact placements for round 1, but for games eliminated in the same round I used the same way of determining it, which was group placement and then score.

Rayman obviously got screwed worst by losing in round 1 there, but Ultimate also reached top 10 yet only got to round 2.
