Alright so I just got to the part where Raging Octopus turns into Snake and kills a bunch of south americans or something. Vamp's here too. Well not really since he's gone now but he was here. I sniped like 13 guys then save quit. No one knew where I was sniping from cuz when I quit they were all freaking out. Can't wait to worm shimmy some more later

I think I'm going to fight Octo soon. Raiden keeps telling me he's gonna meet up with me but I haven't seen him yet. Man I don't remember shit about this series lol I got no clue what ppl are talking about half the time in their expositional convos

oh lord bless u. I do NOT have the patience for no kill runs in stealth games unless the stealth is amazing, like MGS5 or most Hitman games

I will definitely be switching to primarily stealth once I kill Octo tho. I just wanted to get her done with quick since right after beating her last time, my console bricked. Once I beat her I'm in totally new territory and don't have many spoilers

iirc, I did it because you get the bandana for infinite ammo if you don't kill any enemies.

you also get stuff for not killing bosses.

when you get to the point in i think prague maybe, the city where you have to tail that dude, stop every so often and look behind you. youll see a trenchcoat and fedora tailing you. peeking around corners at you and shit

the Beauty and the Beasts have two forms - the beast form and the beauty form.

if you beat the beast form using non-lethal means, you get a figurine, and if you collect all of the figurines (including the frog one from act one - you have to not kill any of the frogs in that one attack), you get a special gun that can shoot sun beams, or something like that.

and if you beat the beauty form using non-lethal means, you can use the beauty's face later on (you'll find out what I mean).

Alright so I got up to Launch Octopus but didn't have time to fight her so I'll have to do it Monday. That blows, damn super long cutscenes. i'm so into it though, dont really mind the length of the cutscenes it was just bad timing today. tempted to bring my console back home so i can play, but it's such a hassle

was totally badass that I could take down the chopper outside her mansion though. super pleased that worked

I'm going to be honest - I got absolutely NO clue who the heck naomi or mei ling are. I remember very little from MGS1 aside from Snake, Grey Fox, and Ocelot

I've only done that game once and it was like 12 years ago l0l

I hate seeing old snake bro. It's so sad. Isn't he like only 30 right now or something? Skin is paper thin it's so bad

Dont blame you. Hard to keep track. I think Naomi was one of the key scientists behind FoxDIE and other genome type projects. And Mei Ling was that soldier that shows up and teams up with Snake half way through the first game?

I remember Octopus being one of the more enjoyable bosses.

Mei Ling was codec support. she saved your progress, and told you proverbs as she did so.
