Persona 4 was an excellent, but an RPG had never hooked me as Xenoblade has. Paid a GameStop tax and purchased the classic controller just to experience the game. The hype got me. Glad I did, still addicted to every release. I can't put my finger one it but Xenoblade scratches every itch I desire in a single player RPG

Xenoblade is the only game left in bracket that I haven't played

When the DE drops I'll get it and honestly probably like it more than P4

... but P4 needs to win here.

Maybe? But it's just so good I cant fault it. The characters were just so believable. And the scale of the world. That's what I think got me.

I'm a huge JRPG fan but Xenoblade just felt too "different" for me to really get into. More like a single player MMORPG.

Maybe thats why a lot of people like it though, since it escaped from the typical "Tropes" of the genre. Fortunately Xenoblade 2 corrected a lot of its issues and it felt more like a real JRPG.

I had never played an mmo. I just enjoyed the nuance. Night and day cycle having an affect on quests, the huge scale of the world. Everything. In retrospect it didn't do anything drastically different, but it filled a void I was looking
