Final Fantasy games have inflated scores. I love the series (up to X), but its true. People feel like they have to score it highly because its a Final Fantasy. Ive played this game twice and it was boring both times. The combat is very simple. The problem was not a lot happens before that, and that's a good chunk of the game.
