It's, umm, blue ish... you're on top of an electrical dome, you have to activate a button to extend the rods out to power something and then climb up the other side and do it again.

Not sure if dead space or half life or whatever

Y'see, I'm relatively sure it was Half-Life 1 due to the electrical effects and the way the electric rods extend... but i also seem to recall 'gripping' onto the ladders, which isn't something you do in the Source engine, you just kinda walk up ladders. (IIRC)

But getting accidentally crushed by the rods does seem like a half life thing to do.

Dead space had a spherical ore sample that was divded by a forcefield. You put a beacon on the vacuum side and launch it but th He only electrics were slowing down these generators for a grav tether. It had these shapers that would crush you as well
