Immediately proven right. That was some clickbaity shit, Dragonguard.

I can tell this is Parappa's favorite episode almost immediately. Soren has a little beard.

Reyla's parents have cool whip-chain swords. And her mom had some quick thinking to save the egg. Since everyone thinks they ran away instead of dying, that makes me think there were no bodies. That makes me think Viren put them in his coinpurse.

"He's smart, and the way he talks, you really believe that he's a good person, that everything he does is to protect his family, his home, or, or all of humanity. He makes you think that as long as you do what he says, you must be doing the right thing. Even when he asks you to do something bad. Something... evil. So, the truth is, someone who wants you to do horrible things, and convinces you that they're good, that's a villain."

I feel personally called out by Soren's monologue lol. I also disagree with him pretty heavily here. It's smarter to run and regroup rather than just have the five of you + a dragon vs an army of magma monsters.

Mostly a transition episode. I'm not sure where they show is meant to go after next episode since I imagine it's going to be the big fight between Viren's forces of darkness vs the Dragon Queen's forces of good. That actually makes me kind of excited because shows shaking up their status quo - which will inevitably have to happen - can be amazing.

Okay, I don't usually notice stuff like this, but there's one little thing that was fucking great. The field where the Dragon Prince's corpse/statue sits is full of red flowers. There's a few big patches right where his broken arm rests that look like big pools of blood.

Viren's little speech to Claudia about how much he lovers her has me pretty confident that his worm buddy wants to kill her.

Amaya threw a sword through someone's neck. Y7 lmao.

"The soldiers! They're immune to the fire!" Claudia, your dad said that literally the second before he turned them into magma monsters.

Come on now. That little girl queen just shot an arrow through Kasef's fucking eye and now she's raining them down on the dudes. How is this Y7? In any case, I wasn't expecting the Ezran loyalists to show up. I like that they reclaimed Viren's little mark of shame and slapped that bitch on a banner.

Ha, Marcos finally got a name. I like when stories have these tiny side characters that kick off the entire plot.

They're having a nice little celebration here in the middle of the Storm Spire, but I'm sitting here wondering if they found Viren's body this time.

It's a touching moment ruined by me thinking, "The Dragon Queen must be super fucking confused to see a bunch of random people and elves in her house when she wakes up.

Holy shit, dark magic can raise the dead? Claudia needs to wake the fuck up. And now Aaravos (I can look at the wiki now that I've watched everything) is turning into Mothra. Stupendous.

I'm pretty stoked to see the next season now. The latter half of this one solved my complaint about the plot feeling a bit aimless and I'm interested to see what happens now that the show's raison d'etre has been completed.
