I never played the DLC in the OG Dark Souls. I plan to soon and am curious. If not I should have an easier time with it than Fume Knight, who is one of the hardest I've ever fought.

Fume Knight on NG8 is perhaps my proudest video game moment. I practiced him for days before pulling it off.

I would like to see a list of hardest bosses at max difficulty vs. normal play through for all the Dark Souls games.

Manus in NG is alright. But so is Fume imo, so I don't know.

I did Midir/Gael around NG5.

Manus I did around NG7 or 8. It took a lot of practice.

I tend to make only one character and just cycle the game over and over again. So, when DLC bosses come out, things can get REALLY messy. I could not beat Lud and Zalen alone on NG8. Same with the Dark Lady whatever in that underground temple in 2 (first DLC). I managed to beat Alonne alone.

Midir was bad enough on 5. Gael was extremely fun though. Excellent boss fight.

Fume Knight is one of the hardest. Probably Sister Friede and Midir are the only ones I'd consider harder just off a quick glance at my recollection. Maybe Laurence.

Having beaten every boss in DS1, DS2, and Bloodborne, idk if Fume Knight is the hardest but he was by far the most frustrating. Maybe Orphan or Maria were harder, but they were certainly less bullshit.

Sir Alonne was a way better fight than Fume Knight in that DLC.

IMO, Fume Knight is harder than Sir Alonne.

FK adds a [third] back-slash once you get him to 25% health that has a pause. If your timing is off and you step into it, he'll use that opening to kill-shot you.
