Competitively, Nidoqueen had better defenses and Nidoking had better offenses.
Nidoking was pretty much always forced to run offensive sets, but is very good at doing that. Nidoqueen could mix match a little more. Nidoqueen's extra bulk actually goes a really long way as a defensive pokemon. add on hazard control with stuff like toxic spikes and stealth rock, and Queen is maybe better than King overall. Nidoking has decent sweeping potential, but its hindered by its poor speed and needing to use its weaker sp. attack to sweep due to sheer force (although it has very good coverage). ... For RBY ingame, i usually liked Nidoqueen more because she can learn body slam without using a TM.
