As a follow up, it makes perfect sense in the context of the shit that went down in the first game. It's not something being done solely for the sake of shock value. It's following a very clear theme the game's story is touching on; that being the "cycle of revenge". And come on, he kind of had it coming. I would've safely make a bet that Joel would, most likely, be killed in this. But the fact that they also kill off ~~Ellie~~ is a seriously ballsy move. I'm interested. --- Yeah!
