Really can't overstate how much I hate him. I didn't like him on my first viewing to begin with, but knowing he's a self insert character for David Simon explains a lot. The guy is just too flawless, no depth, one dimensional. Not everyone has to be shady, but he just comes across as boring. I also hate Scott since he's the complete opposite of Gus. Almost cartoonishly crooked with no redeeming qualities. It's so black and white and the exact opposite of the rest of the show.
