Over the years I have cultivated an ability that I call "Instantaneous Acceptance."

If someone gets an attitude with me and insults me? Oh, well. Eventually I'll have no memory of it anyway so may as well forget about it now.

Have a longstanding crush on someone and when you tell them they let you know they already are involved with somebody? Okay, well if we continue to hold onto these feelings they're just gonna distract us and drive us mad, so poof begone feelings for that person.

Is it accurate? As in, if you hold a banana, you actually taste banana flavor inside your mouth?
If you hold a Cheeto, you taste that flavor?

And does it work for non-edibles? Like if you held a T-shirt, you taste anything?

For food it doesn't really matter, cause if i'm holding it...I'm gonna eat it...so if anything I don't notice it at all for food. It's more about chemicals and materials. If I hold...say...glass, then my mouth tastes like glass and slowly it can wash over my entire body where my skin feels like glass too.

Metal tastes like metal which gets real obnoxious after about 15 seconds, so I don't carry around coins or metal really. Paper make my throat itch like immediately, but magizines are kinda nice cause they are glossy. Chemicals are the worse, so whenever i'm cleaning my house/kitchen/bathroom, I wear gloves, but outside of that I don't like to let it control me so I just am careful when I'm out and about.

And yes when I hold clothes I taste the fabrics, which isn't bad perse, just stick a tshirt in your mouth and that's what its like. I obviously can't wear dirty clothes.
