Only Yakuza 7 is an RPG. The rest are 3D beatemups.

My hill to die on: DISRESPECT for Bloodborne. It made the list, sure, but outside the top 25? Ranking Bastion ahead of Bloodborne is a little too cheeky for me.

No it isn't. It has a barebones skill tree. That is the only RPG element. It doesn't make Yakuza 0 and RPG anymore than it makes Far Cry 3 an RPG.

Did they clarify if Mario Kart is an RPG or not tho?

I mean there are attribute stats on every kart in the game! Considering that's literally the only thing that apparently makes a game an RPG I feel Mario Kart 8 is a pretty massive snub.

Well, on one hand, it puts DQXI at #1 where it damn well belongs.

On the other hand, it counts Zelda games as RPGs.
