I got a 50" 4K TCL tv last year.
I'll play 1080p and 4k vids, don't notice much of a difference. --- On Your Mark...Get Set........GO!!!!!! ... Copied to Clipboard!

You kind of unintentionally screwed yourself by getting a 43-inch TV. Most manufacturers treat their 43-inch models as if they're low end, and honestly the only draws to getting them are the 4K resolution itself, and smart features.
I had a 43-inch LG 4K TV which I upgraded from a crappy 32-inch 720p Sony Bravia, and I immediately began to notice a lot of flaws, issues with color, input lag, and so on. I spent less than I paid for on the LG, to upgrade to a 55-inch TCL, and the difference is like night and day. --- [obligatory signature] ... Copied to Clipboard!

Double check that whatever youre watching on it is actually in 4k resolution, and not still 1080p. Like if youre streaming, theres a good chance the streaming service may not be pushing 4k for all their content.

Well I'm happy with it, just didnt notice a big difference. I was playing the new call of duty and just noticed the colors were a bit brighter and more vibrant --- Psn: An_Axe_Murderer 360: An Axe Murd3r3r 3ds friend code: 3583 4500 8225 plz add me ...
