No, but when someone like Rhonda is so bold as to say that other people have a fragile ego while calling out an industry that she quit because she couldn't handle the schedule, one which she only joined in the first place to try and recover from failing in her actual fighting career, she's going to get a little bit of push back.

Some people can walk in both worlds (Brock Lesnar and maybe a few others) but she never really belonged in the wrestling world and wrestling isn't really at a loss without her.

She's more dangerous than Nia? I'm not going to pretend Charlotte is perfect, but Nia is the absolute worst worker in the roster. Charlotte has had multiple great matches, Nia has had no memorable moments outside of getting RKO'd

She's a former WWE champion and was one of their strongest booked female wrestlers ever. She has a history of going off because of criticism, but this one is way more unstable and baffling.

Well recently there was Kairi and her literally shooting on her for not selling properly.
Nia is sloppy. So is charlotte. The difference is Nia doesn't act like a sociopath in the ring when she doesn't get her way.

Charlotte's entire legacy is "daughter of ric flair" and that made her mad and got the title put on her.

Between her political stuff backstage and her attitude in the ring, she's bad. She can put on the best fucking matches in the world but she's a bad wrestler since she's dangerous.

Basically there's a general good argument that she was a big fish in a small pond.
Which a lot of people who dislike her seem to imagine it makes her the world's worst fighter.
On the other hand she is an egomaniac and while it's not good (or normal for that matter) to laugh at someone who's suicidal, the fact she knows she's very insecure and wasn't able to react properly on the fly to the crowd did make it seme like she was out of her element despite being a huge fan of it, she should have known just how brutal the wrestling crowds can be and I don't think she was prepared.

She was super dominant because every fighter she came across before Holms didn't have an answer to her grappling techniques. So her fights wouldn't last more than a minute. Problem was with Rousey was that she wasn't a balanced fighter. Her striking ability wasn't anywhere near as good as her grappling skills and wasn't that strong at all for a UFC fighter. So when she was looking for next competitor, she bit a bit more than she could chew going after a top tier kickboxer, Holly Holms. Holms trained and was good enough to defend against her grappling which took away Rousey's only tool against her and exposed her. Rousey lost. Humiliatingly.

Fast forward to a year later, she goes for a comeback and chooses and even MORE DOMINANT opponent. Amanda Nunes. Even worse, her striking still wasn't up to par. So she lost. Again. Humiliatingly.

Shonen shows have it correct about needing to have the will to fight no matter what happens. Unfortunately, that trait is rare in reality. Her morale was broken beyond repair, hence her retirement from the UFC.

While it is the fault of him too, it just shows she was often surrounded by yesmen who fucking thought she was amazing.
The average woman? Yes, she'll kill them. Most men too.
Anyone with training, depends. Top tier fighters? Nope they dominate her.

She's an amazing one trick pony but that's it. It doesn't help she had an ego and genuinely thought she could stand up to a professional kickboxer and then one of the best women boxers

It is rare for a fight to end in a single round yet her fights lasted less than 30 seconds in the first round. Consistently.

People liked the fact she ended matches fast. She was looked at for excitement. It wasn't technical, long drawn out fights. It was basically "how fast is Ronda dominating this time".
It was entertaining enough that people who didn't watch the sport could get interested in it. Most people understand "she goes in, eats a punch or two, grabs an arm, tries to break it and they tap out". She was also advertised heavily by the UFC. She also was one of the first women that really tried to bring more than just fighting ot the UFC, like she trashtalked a lot and usually could back it up.

Which is pretty funny since she's fragile.

That's the problem with a unbalanced Martial Artist.

To be a good Martial Artist you need a balanced game at minimum.

Striking, Throws, Grappling.

You need to have a minimum competency in all 3x areas.

Ronda has superb stats in Throws & Grappling and is basically non-existent in Strking.

Honestly, her Hubby Travis would be a better teacher than Edward Tarverdyan, and for far cheaper of a price =D
