The best thing about the eggs is that you can eat them to move trees n junk.

I've made one thing from this whole event

I wish my mistaken idea of just collecting the recipes was how it worked, I have no interest in most of this stuff...

Ehh I'm just going to be glad when I'm not having morale crushed when I see a dig spot.

I already make my tarantula islands twice a night and make like 500k off that so 10k aint much to me. Im rich now.

If this is about the dig spot thing, I get hyped for fossil tbh.

But it's hard to be excited when there's a ton of eggs not being fossils.

I just burn through my nook miles tickets until I get a bamboo island, chop everything down, pick all flowers and break all the rocks so only tarantulas spawn. I pick up 39 tarantulas and then sell them for 8k each twice a night.

I only started around 6pm the 10th. Been screwing off today and still almost paid off my second house loan already.

I mean... I certainly don't agree on most common. I've gone to like 30 or 40 ticket lslands at this point and only seen 1 bamboo island

Yeah I've only seen one bamboo island too after 30 or so. I see trash and hybrid island a bit more often, but I get the regular run-of-the-mill native fruit island 90% of the time

I cant say for sure. But I believe you can craft them after today. But you most likely just wont be able to find the eggs for them anymore or get any new recipes. Until next year, that is...

The first 5 islands are normal islands with different layouts. So normal islands are the most common, not bamboo.

I think what he's saying is that the normal island is more common because together, they have a 18% chance of appearing. The only difference is the pond. But both are normal layouts. If you count the next 2, which aren't special either except for the layout, it goes to 36%. Those are both normal island, as well. If you want to count the 5th one, which major difference is the cliff (and rocks with crafting materials, which I believe the first two have), that would bring the total to 45%. I think that's what he's getting at. While the first 4 or 5 have slightly different layouts, the island is basically the same...

What Link said. Getting island 0 and getting island 1 is basically the same. There's a 45% chance to get an island that doesn't offer anything that your home island doesn't have.

It looks like 9 out of 20 of those islands don't offer anything unique besides layout, bringing the percentage to 58%. But if you're trying to farm tarantulas, you have a 26% chance of either getting the tarantula island itself or getting a river-less and pond-less island that's ideal for spawning them.

Also, I wonder why the islands are numbered that way instead of just 1-20.
