Rebecca is still a much better character then the dead weight that Ashley Graham was. Rebecca atleast knew how to fight back and was willing to most times.

Rebecca was not an elite though, they put her through a training course but she had never seen combat, was not ex military, and had no combat background of any kind. She was there because of her medical expertise due to her having an extensive knowledge if biochemistry, and Richard Aiken was assigned to look after her in missions because she was unproven.

Rebecca was green as grass during the events of RE 0, and RE 1 which is why she is still 100 times better then Ashley Graham.

I also find it hilarious he is a fan of strong women yet RE 4 which he helped make features the most useless, shit RE woman of all: Ashley Graham who not only kept getting captured did not STFU and listen to Leon who was there to rescue her.

Ashley might be just some spoiled college girl but she was annoying as fuck and far worse then Rebecca who atleast had the will to fight.

By this logic he hates strong women because Sherry Birkin wasn't strong in RE2.

when I do introduce them, it is never as objects. In some games, they will be peripheral characters with ridiculous breast physics. I avoid that sort of obvious eroticism. I also dont like female characters who are submissive to male characters, or to the situation theyre in. I wont portray women in that way. I write women characters who discover their interdependence as the game progresses, or who already know they are independent but have that tested against a series of challenges.

Applies to Ashley and Sherry even though they are weak. They are not sex objects and they face their fears. You even control both of them to save the day. They are actual characters.

Rebecca just stands there and freaks out in RE1. And she's supposed to be an elite on an anti-terrorist crack team.

Imagine Rebecca going up against the Cartel going ham on a city.
